From: , Chancellor
Subject: January 16, 2018: National Day of Racial Healing
January 16th is National Day of Racial Healing. Students, faculty and staff are invited to collect at the flagpole in the Quad at noon to show support for racial equality. Racial Healing stickers and ribbons will be provided to anyone who would like to participate.
For racial healing, we need to focus on spreading understanding and acceptance. ____ reaffirms the need to strive for equality, mutual respect, and compassion. This is evident in the university’s desire to participate in the National Day of Racial Healing as well as in its actions to enhance understanding and respect for all minority groups and diversity.
____ supports racial equality by creating initiatives and solutions for actions throughout all aspects of the institution. Led by the university’s administration, ____ has developed a Minority Recruitment Plan, will host specific minority events sponsored by the Division of Student Engagement, and supports the ____ Foundation’s First Generation scholarships. Students have also taken up this call to action by participating in organizations such as Black Organization for Leadership and Development (B.O.L.D.), International Student Association (I.S.A.), and Latin American Student Organization (L.A.S.O.).
The university will continue to ensure that racial equality is one of the greatest values upheld by students, administrators, faculty, and staff.
Sincerely,
, Ph.D.

I'm good. I don't need any healing because I didn't do anything.

Nothing says equality like giving preferential treatment based on skin color

The very people who claim to want a color blind society are those who see race in everything and divide themselves into groups based on race.

Do we get another day off work for that?

Some races are more equal than others.

They don't want a colorblind society. They want to be able to celebrate their races without anyone being able to say anything about it.

Actually, the new attitude is that saying you don't see color is racist. You should immediately see someone's color and act accordingly in the new SJW doctrine.

Don't color blind people only see black and white?

Feel goody but probably insignificant and inconsequential fluff. Possibly even detrimental to the degree that it contributes to the victim mindset of minorities.

And while we're on this subject, my dad wants his lawnmower back

_____ is so committed to racial equality that we will be starting off our students of color with a 30 point grading curve on all of our exams.
