No he never ran his offense at LSU. Thats true.
But he did call the plays he wanted to after the Alleva meeting.
Go watch film. Zero motion first half of Troy. Part of a staple of Canadas offense.
It returned against Florida and stayed up until the ND game where it was an odd mixture.

Here are his average number of plays, total yards, and yards per play at his previous stops.
Northern Illinois:
2003: 71.5 378.9 5.3
2011 71.6 476.0 6.6
Indiana:
2007 70.8 393.8 5.6
2008 66.9 348.2 5.2
2009 67.4 365.0 5.4
2010 71.8 387.5 5.4
Wisconsin:
2012 66.1 393.3 5.9
NC State:
2013 78.8 403.5 5.1
2014 68.4 408.5 6.0
2015 73.3 413.3 5.6
Pittsburgh:
2016 66.6 446.8 6.7
He also averaged 35 or 40 points per game.
Now show me Steve’s career stats.

ETLING. Anyone with eyes could see the limitations.

O meddled all year long. It was only 50% Canada’s offense. Go ask Pitt fans who watched us. With lesser personnel Than old Steve had in 2016 whizh he ran up on shite defenses. Les fricking miles glorified tight ends coach all of a sudden wants to be a big shot eh? BwahahahahHahggha. Mfing jokester

Yey, he did well in shitty conferences, and somehow still got fired from mid-major NC State.
Posted on 1/11/18 at 8:38 pm to The First Cut
The offense the team and even coaches were still learning?
Posted on 1/11/18 at 8:39 pm to Catman88
Yup. That too from the players.

Somehow other teams and OCs can do more, quicker.

I know, right.
Not LSU though.
The secret playbook was a 9,000 page myth.

Matt Canada took a team that averaged 32 ppg and 464 ypg under Ensminger and throttled them back to 27 ppg and 411 ypg.
Only on the rant is 27 > 32 and 411 > 464.
You could argue he had less talent to work with.

Steve was so great as OC!!!!! He was a great qb developer under miles !!!!!! Oh he didn’t help out!?? Why not if he’s so great?? Lmao.

Where are all these O supporters coming from
Ahhhh

Fat Bastard you're a little slow so I'll help you out. TE coaches don't coach QBs, so he didn't have any impact on QBs thus far at LSU.

Ensminger had a far superior team to work with and an awful SEC schedule

Don’t get on this nothing like playing in the SEC high horse bullshite. Outside of Bama we haven’t exactly been lighting the world on fire the past few years.
But I’ll play your game. Even if Canada has only done well in “shitty conferences”, Ensminger couldn’t even do that.
