We have no idea how good Canada was, because the head ball coach cut him off at the knees. Starting with a lifelong defensive position coach deciding who his QB should be

I'm no longer defending O and his lunacy...but can you prove this ...other than the Troy game?

Prove it.

It seemed pretty obvious at the time that Alleva must have reminded orgeron who he hired to run the offense.

The fact that we went back to the shifts but got better after Troy is pretty trelling. I'm sure Canada got throttled but we were running his offense more than we were running Orgerons (i can't believe there is such a thing now).

In any case, if you're claiming Canada got a fair shake by giving him one summer to make a radical change from a system which had been in place for eleven years.... And all the while doing so with yaw yaw trying to undermine him, you aren't worth listening to.

1. He had more than the summer. What was he doing from December through May?
2. The coaches and players running it hadnt been here 11 years.

So O is known for running the jet sweep? Because that was our most successful play this year...7 ypc

Even if it wasn't our most successful play (which it was) think about much more successful it made simple running plays just from keeping the ends and safeties honest. It's scary to think what Fournette would have done in an offense where all 11 defenders couldn't sell out to the middle of the field.

Like in a hand written note from O? No, I don't have that.

But I do have a 9-3 first-year OC being fired. That's idiocy! Tells me all I need to know
