Has to be more to it than that

Are you serious?? The times Brennan was in he put the passes in there quick. Definitely harder/quicker than Etling

Sounds to me like Canada is cut out to be a head coach, not just an OC
Posted on 1/10/18 at 8:52 am to sicboy
yes it makes my blood boil just to think about it. at least miles was straight up about doing his own thing. orgeron is a snake.

A fricking defensive line coach thinking he knows offense. Classic, man.

The way you have presented this and your other posts, they seem legit... Thanks for the enlightenment of just how screwed LSU is as a program.... Either you have sauces or you have an incredible imagination...

He doesnt have the arm strength of Etling.
Did you watch him play this year? He has twice the amount of zip on his passes as Etling. He gets the ball out quicker and throws harder. He definitely needs to beef up, but arm strength didn’t look to be a problem for him.

Canada has a short fuse. This is true on every level. Likely why his relationships with schools end rather quickly. But the man is an offensive genius. If he had his way, the florida game likely wouldnt have been close. But that is neither here nor there. What stands is that him being let go was almost assured that day. To further point this out, the same problem was presented vs alabama. If you found it odd that Brennan went in with 2 or so minutes left, your feeling is justified. That was a public "frick you" to Canada, who was calling for Brennan all game.
If this is true, it demonstrates that O, in addition to bringing absolutely nothing strategically, is a toxic, petty manager of people.
If LSU were run by people who knew what they were doing, O would have never been hired.

Canada has a short fuse and Orgeron is a perpetual bubbling volcano himself. This is a "how to make toast" recipe for problems in the workplace.

If half of this is true, then hire Ensminger and let nature take its course. A great OC can’t fix what’s broken.

More than just the Florida game? Oh yes, a ton more to it.
This is the most relevant information I have however.
Meaning this gives the general idea.
To sit through and write everything ive heard on the two would be awful and not really present any new knowledge than what this post would give you.
I like my presented knowledge to be clear and precise. Guessing games and cryptic tones do not a good writer make.

Normally it is bad practice to go above your bosses head and talk to his boss, but in this case it may have been justified.
It's always a bad practice.

Oh it helps. Just goes to prove what a clusterfrick this was when A=Hole Alleva hired this buffoon as Head Coach. Thanks for the information. Terrible times ahead for the Tiger nation I'm afraid.

We are so screwed. This guy is going to make us jealous of the hallman era

Putting an inexperienced QB in while down on the road to Bama with hardly any time left was suicidal.
Well...yeah. Most of this entire debacle is fairly obvious. The fact that some won't, or can't, see it doesn't make their takes on this board any less mind-boggling.
If Brennan going in at that point did not make you go, "What in the ACTUAL frick?!?" as an LSU fan, then I'm not sure you can be helped.

No. Everyone needs to be held accountable now. If Alleva won't fire O now and simply hand the team over to Aranda and hire an elite OC, he needs to be fired, too.

Canada still called plays, but they were often changed last second by O and sometimes overridden completely
I'm sorry. I do not believe this part.
I'm not saying the OP was not "told" this. I just do not accept everything said as fact and I do not think this is true.
It is a common complaint and a very uncommon occurrence. Might it have happened a time or two? I suppose. But, not often.
A head coach can "handcuff" the plays called (see Troy). Or, call for more "rushes" and fewer "passes", etc. But, to hear a call, change the call, etc? Nah. Not realistic for more than a play or two.

Brennan has a way stronger arm. Etling puts more touch on his deep ball because he doesn’t have the arm to fire the ball. Brennan gets the ball to the WR much quicker.
