1) Full amnesty for current DACAs
2) 10 year probationary period before they can apply for green card/citizenship
3) They cannot vote, or apply for federal or state assistance - until they are granted citizenship
4) Their kids are not automatic citizens
5) End to chain migration
6) Wall

not sure how you enforce 4. The kids are born here. That's unwinding a lot of laws.

Rest are good.

I'm ok with permanent resident status but never vote or citizenship after vetting for criminal violations.

That is a fair compromise.

How about 'they cannot vote ... EVER.' Just watch how disinterested the Dem party would be in them.

Yep. If Trump signs anything that allows them to vote or become citizens he’s done. Nobody that voted for him wants that

That’s reasonable, except for #4. If you want to end birth citizenship, do it across the board. No exceptions.

That is not true....EVERYTHING is a trade off. The fact that he is using the DACA kids as a bargaining chip is a genius move.

You are not going to get everything you want, but you are moving the line way forward.

Unconstitutional.

Besides that, misses much bigger issues regarding immigration than DACA. DACA is the leverage you use to get your other immigration reforms passed (HB1 reform, points system immigration, etc).

I am fine with DACA, I am not fine giving blanket amnesty to the 30+ million illegals already here. Trump seemed to be thinking about doing that today at his meeting. If he does, it will end him.

Why would Repubs want to give amnesty to millions of Democrat welfare recipients? It makes absolutely no sense.

It won't matter. Trump will be long gone. Once they are granted permanent residency, the erosion starts. Communists, socialists and liberals all work on the concept of incrementalism. After the "children" (presently up to 35 years old) are accepted, the chant becomes.."How can we let them be part of the fabric of our country and not allow them a voice?"...enter the lawyers and in a few years they will be voting. We're already at the point where "O.K....they're criminal aliens and all...but can we hold that against them?"

Why is it that we start by giving in to the liberals, when they never compromise any part of their agenda??

This solution is easier. Invite them and MS 13 members to a tomales and Big Red festival and then tell them to fight to their deaths. The winners will enjoy a one-way trip to the South American capital of their choice.
