Yes he does. The remainder of his contract. Just like Orgeron.
I’m all for trashing this administration but do it factually.
I'm pretty sure they're talking about no buyout if another school tries to take Wade.
With guys like Jones and Ogeron LSU put buyouts in place for guys whom no one else wanted. LSU only unnecessarily penalized themselves. It was 1000X more likely LSU would eventually have to fire either of those bozos vs. someone coming take them from LSU. With Wade LSU chose not to protect itself from another school. Even VCU had a buyout for Wade...which LSU had to pay to take him from there.

Yes there is. Wade guaranteed his end of the contract as well. So if another school wants to hire Wade, he (in actuallity his new employer) will owe LSU what is remaining. It’s just not a flat $x figure. This is better because LSU, if they like Wade, will renegotiate in a few years and thus increase the buyout.
Same goes for Ed. But this difference is no one else wants him. Nor is he getting an extension.
