Who are your top candidates?

I really think that Aranda has the potential to be really good, but if we don't promote him then who do you have?

Would be very pleased with Aranda. He is a brilliant defensive mind and I have to believe he is smart enough to hire a competent OC.

After promoting two coaches from within the program that everyone is against, we'll have aranda there that everyone supports, and they'll hire some dumbass from off the street...

He’ll I’ll take my PeeWee coaches over this shite show. Coach Dennis was a hell of a coach and he had excellent assistants that Got us 3 championships in 4 years. He’s kinda old now but prob about same age as a couple of these geriatric clowns we’re hiring.

Brian daboli. Takes over the Bama offense in Feb and gets them to NC. He is a high value guy. Will be the next guy to leave Nick and succeed.

Justin Fuente, Mike Gundy, and Chris Petersen are the bigger names y'all could probably pull from their current jobs

If you miss on those names, guys like Will Muschamp, Mike Norvell, Frank Wilson, Dave Aranda, and Mel Tucker would all be significant upgrades that would take the job.

LSU is an attractive job and whatever idiots signed off on hire O should be fired on the spot. The was probably the most lazy hire I've ever seen

Y'all will probably flame for this but you'd be insane not to take a hard look at Troy's Neal Brown. The dude is going to be the next big thing and will probably get hired by a bigger program next year. He's 37 in his first head coaching job, hungry, and has spent a ton of time recruiting in the heart of SEC country.

Was at Troy as an assistant/coordinator from 2006-2009, where the school saw its best 4-year stretch in its short history. But after he left, the program took a nosedive until he came back as head coach in 2015:

2010 8-5
2011 3-9
2012 5-7
2013 6-6
2014 3-9
2015 4-8 [Brown first year head coach]
2016 10-3 [Brown second year head coach]
2017 11-2 [Brown third year head coach]

All I'm saying is they turned to shite a year after he left and when he came back and took over the program he had them winning 10 games in Year 2 and 11 in Year 3, with wins over P5 programs.

His name has been mentioned. Step up from O (who isn’t?), but I’d trust Aranda more.

You trust Aranda with the defense more, sure. But head coach is just as much about administrative duties. And mostly, the head coach has to be a closer in recruiting. I know Aranda can recruit, but I've never gotten the feeling that he is an elite recruiter like Kirby, O, Saban, Pruitt, Jimbo, etc. Am I wrong? I just think having a guy who has shown twice now he can turn a program with potential around in short order who has a ton of experience recruiting Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and Georgia would be a huge draw. More so than even the most elite coordinator in the country.

You are right to assume Gundy has a chance.

However, Aranda is the clear favorite and frontrunner for the job after O.

The talk amongst the guys is that he is sabanesque with his attention to detail and drive.

Need to be compiling a list of potential AD’s as well as Alleva should not survive the 2018 meltdown.

The Auto Yes Clown needs take FKA, Alleva and Orgeron on a ride in style off the LSU campus and out of Baton Rouge completely.
