Also, for me, technique is more important.
S'all I'm saying.
Saying test scores should not be a very important factor is asinine. Hard to judge a kid from BR High, and a kid from McKinley High. You have to have a common point of comparison.
For college admission, test scores are a fine place to start. Weighting scores by race/gender is deliberately diluting the talent pool at the university
Sure, you may get couple diamonds in the rough, but mostly you get a bunch of kids that are going to fail out or quit.

If by educated you mean racist...

That doesn't just apply to Black women. It applies to many highly degreed people of all demographics. They can claim a lot of letters after their names, but can't change a flat tire, or start a lawn mower, find the breaker box in their own house, cook a pot of beans..
I would guess that Black Women probably are the most degreed demographic, and I know some that are well educated and really smart. I love meeting and talking to those that have real common sense, along with their degrees. They are fun to talk to, and have great perspectives.
However, because of the higher % of degrees among their demographic, it's easier and more common to run into many of them that are really dumb. It's just numbers.
This is what happens when you have racial and sex quotas for financial aid to go to college.
You can't blame them, they are a product of the system, and show that in a way, as a statistic that number crunchers can point to, having the quotas worked, but in the grand scheme of things, didn't entirely achieve the desired results.

Twofers get degrees thrown at them? Color me shocked.

You’d be wrong. The OP and all similar stories are misleading. Black women, by a higher percentage than others in similar single race comparison are more educated than black men.
Black women (23%) get degrees at a rate lower than Asian men (57%), Asian women (55%), white women (38%), and white men (33 %).
Black men at 17% also rank behind Hispanic women at 18%.

May actually be one of the worst things for The AA Community as a whole, because it creates an artificial barrier, due to a skewed sense of achievement and standing among some AA Women. This makes it hard for them to find acceptable permanent relationships, because they have extremely high opinions of themselves, compared to their available potential mates.

By definition, she has more education; therefore, she is more educated.
It in no way proves she is more intelligent.

Sure isn't the first time, but I am pretty much going by what I see in my own community and who I deal with daily, not the nation as a whole.
There may be more degreed Asian Men and Women, but they aren't the people that I have to deal with at the courthouse, hospital, shipping departments and shite. They have lives that barely touch mine. And I have an Asian Wife.

Do you deal with white men and women? Because they are also more likely to have a degree than the black women you encounter..

They are counting degrees awarded.

Yes, I do, and it seems like about 50/50,even though racial statistics suggest that it should be a different average.
I will let you guess at what this implies to me, not going to elaborate any further.

I’m not sure what it implies to you. I generally don’t pay much attention to if people have a degree or not. It would be difficult to determine just by speaking with someone, although based on the job someone has it’s easy to assume sometimes. The education bubble in the US is absurd, people going to school for 4 years or more so they can shuffle office paperwork or answer the phones.

On a macro-scale sure, but on an individual scale that isn't true
Well of course and you will never see me argue that the macro reality means some individual white person is smarter than some individual black person. That would be flagrantly racist.
Just because one groups bell curve is slightly shifted to the right in relation to the other groups bell curve doesn't mean the bell curves don't largely overlap.
I don't confuse the two

ONe of the girls I worked with at a fortune 100 company invited a friend down from legal for a meeting. Woman had no business purpose for being there, but hey company trip to the Caribbean. Nice girl and had my jaw dropping as she told tales.
She said she is a "quad", a Jamaican, black, female, lesbian. She went to Harvard, said they value people from different countries, and she had three more minority cards to play in addition. Very open about playing a system willing to offer it. What a charmed life. Said she could walk and chew gum which put her head and shoulders above some of the other "minority" hires in corporate America. She was the youngest and top of her pay grade, and got offers every month to move to other companies.

This is what so many people don't get about the environment in America today. You will often hear women or blacks were black women say things like "we have to work twice as hard" to get ahead in America
Well that's just flagrantly false
Being a smart and capable black woman is like the career holy Grail. You basically couldn't fail if your goal was to fail. Organizations will spot you from 80 miles out and beg you to work with and take promotions from them.
That's because you're not actually competing against everybody. You're only competing against other minorities that have an equal or greater grievance scale than you.

You get it shorty, EXACTLY. We recruited a lot at Howard and most of those kids have a minor in racial discrimination. They would flagrantly use the race card to advance their careers.
This girl got it. She was smart, and didnt play the card, she played the system. She realized "she didnt have to outrun the bear, only had to outrun her peer group". And you are right, to find a smart, easy to work with minority, without an axe to grind, this girl punched her ticket, and was laughing all the way to the winner circle...and I was cheering her on.
