Thinking about taking the wife there for the day today. Just for something different.
It’s relatively close.

There’s a Carrabbas on the i10 Service road. If the line is too long there, I gusss you could splurge and go to Saltgrass.

And you could check out the Babe Zaharias Museum. It looks like it’s about 300 square feet.

just to give you an idea, people from Beaumont go to Lake Charles for fun.... So, no there's nothing fun in Beaumont unless you like chain restaurants.

Years ago, I used to go to Beaumont for work. The only thing we did besides work was go to Dream Street. Don't know if the place is still there or not.
