Ship has definitely sailed on one of these guys and it's not Jimmmy Graham.

TE should be one of the top concerns going into the draft. Would much rather draft a fresh guy than pay huge money for a player who has significant injury history.

No telling what brees will ask for as well as Okafor. We have some other role guys that we probably need to resign as well. We won't have as much cap as everyone is thinking. We need to temper expectations.
I'd imagine most of those contracts would be structured to take the hits down the road. If we're truly gearing up for one last run before Brees goes, we have a ton of space

I would easily pay 7-8 mil for this. Him in the redzone and key 3rd downs is so sorely missed on this team.

Jimmy going out and Kamara coming out of the backfield...
defenses will melt under the pressure
and Drew will throw for ~67,000 yards in a season

He'll be a great backup TE to Gronk next year

Would rather pay Paul Richardson the money it'd cost for Graham.

I vision a play where Jimmy runs his patent seam and Kamara comes underneath with an arrow or flat out route.
What do you do?

I would love to have Graham back! If not, the Saints Must draft a top TE for Brees. That’s the missing element on offense. Particularly on third downs and the red zone. We also need to draft another WR, as it looks like Snead will be released.

If he would accept less money, then sure. He's not nearly as good as he thinks he is, or is worth that much more. Brees makes him better.

Cameron brate or trey Burton
Everyone loves Graham but he's getting old and he's not the same athletic freak from 3 years ago. Still a deadly red zone target but so are/can the other 2

You can't be serious. You actually believe that's some sort of gay message? you're losing your marbles, bro.
So does that make the Knicks gay with Porzingis?

agree with the thought but the #s you likely won't find a TE via the draft that can come in and immediately contribute

all I can think about is that INT in Atlanta... and if how that was Graham... Brees lifts that pass higher and Graham goes up and gets it
b/c we've seen it happen a number of times before

What scares me is that Hill seems like one of Payton's guys.
I don't see how Fumagali couldn't come in and give us his same production blocking while actually providing a threat in the pass game

Burton can be just as good and cheaper

Either brate or Burton.
Brate is way more athletic than people think and has a super high football iq. Almost like ben Watson but younger and more athletic.
Interested to see what kind of money trey Burton gets. Probably the contract fleener got maybe a little more
