Did Mike D. just suggest Briles as LSU OC?

Said that O talks a lot to Kiffen. Playing connect the dots to ties with O and Kiffen.
Kinda left me thinking he hinted at K Briles? Can't be sure.

Sark got the USC job after O politicked for it. No chance O trusts Sark to hire him here with the level of paranoia he's already showing in his other hires.

Why don't we just cut out the useless middle-man in Ogeron and bring Kiffin and Briles over in a package deal. O could stay in as DL coach. Of course, LSU would have to fight off no other school in America who might want O as their HC

How is it a hint or suggestion that Briles might be a candidate for OC when Briles name wasn’t mentioned?

heard the Mike D comments...basically said O and Kiffin talk alot, O leans on Kiffin for advice on offense, and that he expects the hire to have a connection with O and Kiffin.

The Briles kid made Kiff look good this season. Lane would not want to lose Briles and has surely offered to bring him along when a D5 comes calling next year.
If Canada leaves I would like to see Briles come in. His offenses produce yards and points.

K. Briles ain’t coming to LSU for 2 reasons. 1. Same as Freeze, still tainted with scandal and Aleena and LSU don’t want anything like that around program 2. Briles runs Big 12 offense, again something LSU not built to do and doesn’t want. LSU built around strong D and run game, (look at last 50 years) and O wants more of pro set game, not what Briles does. Even if he wanted Briles, by time they recruited enough people to run it, losses would eat them up and they d be gone. Not happening SMH.
