My neighbor down the street when I was a kid, was an admitted devil worshipper in his younger days. He has since become a very religious man, but told stories of animal sacrifices, blood orgies, riding around BR in a Hearst.

There was some supposed devil worshipping going right through the woods from where I grew up. They did a TV special where they supposedly found some mutilated cows and cows that had their blood drained. It was all complete bullshite and fabricated for TV. We used run around in them woods hunting and everything and never seen any of that.

there were some small groups of outcasts or legitimately crazy people who did stupid shite and claimed they were "Devil worshipers". THAT did exist. there were no large, organized (occult) devil worshiping groups. they simply did not exist and were a fabrication of the media and churches

sadly, innocent people went to real jail due to this meme

I was renting a house in Loranger about 20 yrs ago in the sticks. One night we heard some chanting and a fire. So I went for a closer look. I'm not sure if it was a Klan meeting ( robes but no hoods) but they were chanting some shite around a burning cross... I got out of my contract and moved

I don't know of any churches that were involved in these claims at least in my area.

The old ancestral tree amongst the Langois down by the tracks, didn't have many branches. Devil worshipping would've been tame.

I had some devil worshiping guys under me in the Marines. Their church was called “Circle” and it was conveniently on Thursday nights during barracks field day. Some bullshite.

Back in the 80s, there were devil worshipers in every patch of trees everywhere. If you believed the rumors.

I worship the devil. I seek to be the scapegoat of retarded people who have no education or critical thinking skills and see politics as a dichotomy. One side being good and the other being evil.

Got a neighbor who always struck me as odd. Fat lesbian who has a smokin girlfriend. They walk the dogs a lot and since it got cold she has a leather jacket she wears that says 666 Satan's Child on the back. Not sure if that's a nickname, lesbian thing or just straight up needs Jesus but I don't like to be near her. I'd watch her girlfriend scissor for days though.

Sex Charges Follow a Church's Collapse
By RICK LYMANMAY 25, 2005

quote:

PONCHATOULA, La., May 24 - Two decades ago, Hosanna Church was one of the fastest growing congregations in the cypress flats of Tangipahoa Parish on Lake Pontchartrain's northwest rim, and its pastor, Louis Lamonica, was a beloved figure.

quote:

And now, many of them, including Louis Lamonica Jr. and a deputy sheriff who once lived on the church grounds, are behind bars, accused by the police of a litany of ungodly offenses, including sexual abuse of perhaps two dozen children and the mutilations of cats for satanic rituals.

quote:

Sheriff Daniel H. Edwards of Tangipahoa said that as many as 25 children -- about evenly split between boys and girls -- might have been involved in sex acts at the youth center, in cars and in the homes of at least two of those charged. The abuse seems to have begun in 1999, he said, and stopped occurring on the church grounds after 2003.

THE REAL / S1 EP2

The Real 'True Detective'?

Ten years ago, the town of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was traumatized when a local church's secret Satan worship, ritualized child molestation, and animal sacrifices came to light. Rust Cohle may be a fictional character, and time may not really be a flat circle, but that sounds an awful lot like the events of the first season of HBO's hit True Detective. In this episode of our brand-new series The Real, we went down to Ponchatoula to meet Stuart Murphy and Tom Tedder, two law enforcement officials who helped put these terrible, true events in Ponchatoula's rearview mirror.

There is the Official Church of Satan. There was an episode on Lisa Ling's "this is life" about this group. They don't worship the devil, they're goal is to.. I guess sort of expose hypocrisy when it comes to government and religion. They have a statue of some devil looking thing that they use to try to get placed near the ten commandments on federal grounds.

Since we have separation of religion and government, I understand their purpose, but they are a little extreme.

The pedo shite is real.

Blame it on the devil or human nature and power. But there are definitely child trafficking rings that go all the way into the halls of power around the world.

You talking about Alex Jones shite or actual stuff? I've got crazy in-laws who buy into lizard people stuff and swear anyone that disagrees with them is a child diddler.

But after the Catholic Church stuff, ya never know.
