Clearly a career record of 31-32, 20-28 as a full time coach is much better than 46-24

Wait, wut? What does that have to do with this?

I was replying to a post that insinuated the only reason CLM was let go was because of his record. I was pointing out to the poster that there are reasons other than his record for his demise at LSU.

Jesus are you arguing the most successful coach in LSU history was fired for a handful of clock gafs?

No but when included with his lying to his boss and others it became ONE of the reasons leading up to it.

LOL this is facts? let me guess you got these facts from? the binder? wait no Austin Thomas? how about the rant? just because you don't know about if a school contacted a person or not does not mean that its fact that no one wanted him.

shite look at when LSU got Miles. No one seen that one coming but it was fact that Jack Del Rio was our guy.

Pisses you off doesn't it when someone has a positive post about O. Our pathetic fanbase is sad. I knew johnny Jones wasn't a good coach, but you know what, I gave him a chance. Hell O may lead a team to a top 10 finish in his first year, and he gets more hate than frickin johnny Jones, who never sniffed top 50

I care about his career record at LSU. I dgaf about what he did at a bottom feeder program.

He is 10-3 as permanent head coach. With a win over Notre Dame, he will be right in line with the best winning % ever at lsu

So...
this isn’t SC and they don’t play in the SEC West.
I don’t give 2 shits about what former players at a school who has NOTHING to do with LSU. He was on that staff and around that program for MANY MANY years as opposed to politicking to get a job he didn’t deserve.

Do you even realize the context of the quotes Ree posted?

O abandoned his team and players and quit in a fit after not being named permanent HC.

How in the hell is that a positive?

It’s a bottom line game he was fired because he wasn’t winning at a high enough level, things like clock management and poor production on offense were factors in not winning at a high enough level but not reasons for his firing. Les Miles would not have been fired if he had gone 12-1 in 2015 and was 4-0 to start 2016.

Here’s a great example of not only twisting to suit an agenda but pure Miles bashing. You clearly don’t know what this means.

There’s a difference between lying and failing to do accomplish something. Miles would not have been fired with the 103rd ranked offense if he was 11-1 or even 10-2 the last couple of years.

You are just proving again you are lowering the standards

How can you not care that your coach has never shown an ability to
Improve a program?

Didn’t we hire him to make LSU better?

Did he?

At its best this team is the same team we saw for the last decade. Good defense (run by a holdover from the last regime)
Good run game
No passing

We didn’t start this season any better than last year.

And I havent Seen anything that makes me think O is getting better.
