how many gay weddings have had a pizzeria cater their wedding? I think you could go into the heart of fricking Castro and find a pizzaria and they will tell you they’ve had zero requests to cater a gay wedding.
My friend owns a pizza catering company and most of his business is weddings. It may not be common but it does happen.
And I personally witnessed a lesbian couple order his services.

The gay wedding cake ruling won't hold up in the Supreme Court case involving the Colorado baker. In that case the baker regularly served gay customers. His only objection was the specific request to make a cake for a gay wedding. If he refused services to gay customers period then that would be illegal in my opinion. The distinction comes with the specific service/event the cake is to made for.

I am starting to think gay couples are targeting these places to cause a ruckus.

The case in Colorado has nothing to do with religion. It has everything to do with free speech and freedom of association.
The baker had no problem baking a cake for the homosexual marraige. He had a problem with decorating it with same sec marriage or Halloween or even divorce cases.
How you use your expertise in your business and are you willing to use that expertise in how you see fit in the business that you own?

That's not a judge. That's a political activist in a black robe.

He's just upholding state law
Maybe dumb state law, but he's doing his job
Had he ruled opposite, he'd be an activist
Wait What?
So you supported People like Roy Moore when he upheld the Alabama law against the issuing of Marriage certificates to queer couples right?

Don’t listen to that idiot. He’s stoned

A state law that forces someone to serve someone that goes against their religious beliefs?
Maybe this country isn't great again after all.
As another poster mentioned, find a Muslim place to dine and demand pork. File a suit when they dont.
You know as well as I do that they will side with the peaceful Islamic muslim community.
What a crock.
And, here is the thing, there are plenty of bakeries that would have made them a damn cake. I would have made them a cake if I had a bakery happily as I could give a shite what they do on their time.
This was a hit job, period. Targeting maliciously and pathetically I might add.
Also, as Scalia did say, Pandora box will open because of crap like this.

Mr. Appellate Judge had made his ruling. Now let's see him enforce it.

Apparently they've already paid it
But they're still up $300 grand

So you think it'd be ok to refuse to decorate it with a black person or what? And divorcees and Halloween celebrators aren't a protected class in any state.

I hope that couple never sees a dime. $135,000 because someone refused you service.
I bet there was another baker within a mile of that bakery. What a farce and what a scary precedent for small business owners.
