Would you rather the federal government finance

(A.) the border wall at various locations from Texas to California

OR

(B.) the completion Comite River Divergent Canal/ or Amite River flood control infrastructure project AND a major interstate project to alleviate BR traffic woes on I10/I12 such as the proposed "Loop" that would divert I10 traffic down Airline HWY instead of through the heart of Baton Rouge that affects daily commuters?

The Federal government doesn't "finance" anything.
Taxpayers do.

Building the wall saves the US taxpayers money long term.

This is why I don't mind paying for the wall.

It is an investment like adding better insulation to your house. It costs money at first but eventually you recoup the money on lower electricity bills.

So, spend federal money on a project to benefit all Americans or one to benefit only portions of Louisiana?

Are you actually this stupid or are you just trolling?

No a dime spent on the wall. That's my wish.

The Wall is a horrible idea.

One is a state issue, the other a federal.

WTF are you even talking about?

that's where you wrong. I do believe is a massive waste on money that trump said mexico would pay for and now it will be on tax payer dollars.

I would rather the government help pay for projects that I will directly benefit from on a daily basis.

Yes my house flooded. yes i was built above flood stage.

the comite river divergent project has been on the back burner for over 30 years.

traffic fricking sucks in baton rouge and poors don't want to pay a few cents extra at the pump which would allow for interstate expansions and road improvements.

I want there to be comprehensive consideration of how to secure our southern border by people who know about shite like this

And then I want to take their advice. Prioritize whatever they conclude as appropriate. It's probably not the most important use of our tax dollars, but it's not the least important either.

Ultimately, these are all state problems. If you’re state chooses income tax as a mean to cover these expenses, then you should expect an increase in tax rate.
