Has anyone noticed that UT's 8-9 consecutive mediocre to poor seasons has coincided with 7 years of 'meh' football for LSU? During the 2000's, both programs enjoyed some of their best runs in the history.

In parts of the 60s when Texas was good, LSU had some good season.

Given A&M's move to the SEC West, I believe we need a strong UT.

Correlation does not mean causation. Also this isn’t even correlation, it’s just two data points.

Nope. arse raping will come in recruiting soon enough. Book it with those 2 at UT and TAMU. It will be extremely hard to pull Houston kids now. Austin is 2.5 hrs away and TAMU with better facilities is 1 3/4.

A strong resemblance. Coincidence? I think not.

We had much better teams than UT for most of this run, and ATM hasn’t beat is since they joined the SEC.

This is a perfect example of when correlation does not equate to causation.

Wrong UT.

LSU fans should all have Tennessee has our second favorite team. With Alabama having the Vols as their permanent opponent, a weak Tennessee team is bad for LSU.

If Florida is strong and Tennessee is weak, that puts LSU at a severe disadvantage.
