Nope. If you didn't understand my point from the start, that's on you. Not only does it make no sense, contextually, the math doesn't even work out. The top marginal rate is only 39.6% and my state tax rate is 6%. The most I could possibly pay in income taxes is 45.6% of my income.

Besides.

In the other thread, you admitted that the sum total of why you oppose the bill is cause you pay more.

Well. OK. By that standard, everyone who pays less should support the bill.

Quitcherbitchin

That's how everyone feels about every tax bill. If it's in your favor, you're happy, if it's not, you're unhappy.
If your tax bill was going up, you would complain. But you know what I wouldn't do? I wouldn't call you liar, a fraud, or tell you to stop complaining.

It's just so comical how obvious it is that you're a board regular masquerading.

As I said before, a moderator or admin can put this to bed pretty easily.

While Obama was president and Democrats were making the rules, if I was arguing politics, I was arguing against liberals. If you're wondering why I didn't post any anti-Obama stuff here, it's because this site is mostly conservative and I'm not interested in "preaching to the choir". That's not interesting.

Now that Trump is president and Republicans are making the rules, if I'm arguing politics, I'm arguing against conservatives.

The Republican party controls every branch of the federal government and the overwhelming majority of states. If Republicans can't repeal Obamacare when they have that much power, they are fricking worthless. And now they're trying to pass a shitty tax bill because they're lazy. Instead of doing the hard work of getting a handful of Democrats to vote for the bill, they're going to raise my taxes so the bill doesn't increase the debt by more than the $1.5 trillion threshold (so they don't need any Democrat votes).

In other words, I have to pay more because Republicans are lazy. They are taking the easy route, doing the exact same things, procedurally, that Democrats did with Obamacare. It's massive piece of legislation with numerous mistakes in it, that they voted on without actually reading it. This is Nancy Pelosi saying "we have to pass it to know what's in it" all over again. Every time legislation of this magnitude is rushed, it is a disaster. This will blow up in the faces of Republicans and I'm going to mock them when it happens because they're trying to make me pay more because these politicians are lazy pieces of shite.

I'm glad most Americans are getting a tax cut, but Republicans are doing this the wrong way. Taking shortcuts never pays off. Want proof? Just ask Democrats about Obamacare.

If every Republican in Congress voted to repeal it would it get repealed?

Then say what you are really saying. You have no actual opinion on the quality of the bill...........your entire measuring stick is........YOU.

No one likes their tax bill going up so, I wouldn't like it.

What I wouldn't do is use it's effect upon me to then say the whole thing was Marxism. But, I didn't grow up thinking that the only good shite in he world was shite that worked for me.

You're a liar and a fraud because you are an obvious alter.

The number of people who land on this board and post jack shite basically over the course of 3 full years and then, suddenly, over the course of less than 24 hours explode for 1/3 of all posts they've ever made(~43 at this point) can be counted on one hand with 5 fingers left over.

You're another situational alter. Nothing more

Yep.

This is the game Democrats play on this and other boards.

It's just a variation of the game played years ago where the media would interview someone like McCain as the "Republican" against what Republicans are doing.

In this case, the national media has hung on to two key elements.

1. The absurdity of talking about the sunset in 10 years.

2. This is the best one. The lost soul who owns a million dollar home.

But, you see. #2 is a bit of challenge for them.

The media and liberals want no part of running around knighting for high income earners. Gotta maintain that street cred.

So, we get these frauds showing up to play the whole, "I'm one of you and I hate this shite" game.

Basically, a convoluted ASURob.

Everyone on this board knows that you can defeat the admin alter detection.

You're not fooling anyone.

He also likes to completely ignore that prior to this tax bill, everyone with his income in places with lower state taxes and property taxes had to pay more than him to the Fed.

There's no way to write a Fed tax bill that accounts for the vagaries of the 50 states and many localities.

That shite would be a nightmare!

He's right, and he knows true conservatism, unlike Trump.

Now you see why the tax bill is hated across the fruited plain.

California and New York liberals LOVE taxes. This is one of the best things about the tax plan. It's a win/win for everyone.

His reply to this way back when. Yes he is a conservative republican

Don't forget to include the benefits from public roads, police, fire protection, and military. The people who benefit from those should be drug tested as well.

This is straight DU level thinking.

And not just there.

If you live in a place where the people have been voting to increase taxes upon themselves, then why should this tax bill piss you off? It's what you've been asking for!!!

The real subtext here is that liberals aren't satisfied to get their way.

They want YOU to get THEIR way too!!!

Right, I already addressed this. I don't like "preaching to the choir". Circle jerks are boring. I don't need affirmation of my beliefs. If I'm arguing politics, I want conflict. Give me people who disagree with me. That's why I criticized Obama on liberal message boards, not here.

The funny thing about all this is that liberals accused me of the same thing when I was criticizing Obama on liberal boards during his presidency. They said "where are your Bush criticisms?". I responded with "Bush isn't president anymore and I criticized him on conservative message boards while he was president". When the next Democrat wins the presidency, I'll be criticizing him on liberal message boards, and those liberals will accuse me of that same thing I always get accused of being.
