Of course not, that's never been what we were talking about.

We are talking about it being a utility in the way we live and do business in 2018. The fact that you don't use the internet to research and examine comparable properties and the like is borderline negligent to your clients. I cannot imagine your estimators are so similarly lazy.

Which is why them crowing about "everyone agreeing with them" today is silly.

What's going to happen is that 99% of their "oh my God, you won't be able to........" won't have happened.

They'll be able to point to a few things that affected damned near no one for any period of time.

And, the public that is "outraged" today will be like, "meh, guess it wasn't a big deal".

And, just like when liberals over used the word "racist", they'll be looked at as Chicken Little's.......AGAIN

Right, I am sure they will get right on that.

They? If this is such a big deal, shouldn't it start with you? Not writing any letters to your reps? Not looking into joining an anti-trust qui tam action?

If the only thing saving you from big bad ISPs was a flimsy regulation from an ever-changing political agency board, then I don't know what to tell you.

No I am just pointing out a bad analogy.

Such antiquated thinking.

You guys love to make fun of old people so, I'm gonna reverse that.

In 20 years, my 8 and 9 year old are going to access this old rhetoric and be like, "what were you old frickers talking about!!!"

And YOU'LL be the old frickers.

With or without NN, the majority of American customers in 10 years were going to be accessing their internet via wireless connections.

I am curious how you think the connection being wireless changes the debate.

If I’m investing; I have an agent.

What exactly are you getting at? Yes, I use the internet for my business. It doesn’t mean I HAVE TO USE the internet for my business.

But then again, I will continue to use the internet for my business, even after the decision was made yesterday.

Your M.O. seems to be fear mongering. My business won’t change due to that.

Well, I mean. There it is. Liberal ideology in a nutshell.

It's child like thinking. Impossible to overcome.

No way man, I am going to be a day 1 early adapter to the super-matrix VR world that comes next.

(No, you are totally right though, I don't even have an instagram).

I'm curious as to how you don't see that it would.

Quick. Tell me why wired connections are, to use your words, "monopolies"?

Type it out and for frick's sake, if you can't answer your own question when you're done, I can't help you.

Ok, well I do, and I have to upload and download massive documents from it daily. So for me, the internet is a fundamental utility in how I do my job.

I personally am a libertarian, so I think the market will correct, but that doesn't mean that the internet is not a utility, which is your whole point. NOT, whether people are overreacting.

Didn't know electricity and gas were essential for life. However, it does spin the narrative

Well, yeah, duh, you can't have student loans if you didn't go to school, so yeah, you probably had a couple hundred grand head start on him.

Actually from the beginning of this debacle the phrase I prefer is "telecom industry".

Theres only slightly more competition among wireless carriers, but they are just as bad at allowing competition as the cable companies are.

Theres no shortage of collusion between either group.

That’s awesome for Estonia. It’s also smaller than Louisiana. A hell of a lot easier to ensure broad band when you have to provide it to south Louisiana as opposed to that plus 49 and a half other states similar in size
