I remember having Yahoo messenger & talking in the chat rooms.

You were the shite if you had a webcam back then. Haha. I still remember the Logitech one I had and how it was such a pain in the arse if it got moved to set it back properly on the base with the thick cord.

You have good memory of this Pio for being a 19 yr old :winky face: ;)

My username here is my AIM screen name and it is missing letters and weird and shite because 16 characters was the most you could have on AIM.

I was 14 when I joined here and didn’t really know what a good message board name was. So AIM screen name was an easy choice.

I spent every night in AIM and don’t regret it a bit

I banged two chicks out of the old Yahoo chat rooms. Never much cared for AOL Messenger.

Years ago I helped a buddy find out his ex-wife was cheating via AOL Messenger, saved him a lot of headaches.

Man we had some fun with AOL IM back in the day. We use to catfish the frick out of people before catfishing was a thing.

I remember when I first got it, one of my friends created a fake female account, IM'd me and had me going for a few days until I finally realized that person was trying to get me to say some off the wall shite so I turned it around on them.. By making them think I was on the verge of saying some stupid shite that they were hoping I would say.

We use to find people to frick with and save the conversations on 3.5 floppy disk so that in computer science class my senior year, we could all read conversations we had, fricking with people, the night before.
