Will Jones actually vote for Trump's agenda in spots?

Jones really has two options.
Accept his role as a speedbump for Trump and just tow the Democratic party line, voting against everything for the next 3 years.
If he's content to lose in 2020 (or doesn't plan on running again in 2020) that's likely the route he will take.
If he actually wants to have any shot in 2020 (the same year Trump will be on the ballot btw) he will need to support Trump's agenda in key places so he can play the "I'm a moderate" card in 2020.
What do you think he'll do?

You are making the assumption that supporting Trump's agenda in 2020 will be the popular thing.

It will be in Alabama. The rest of the country is irrelevant as far as Jones' re-election is concerned.

What is unpopular nationally may be popular there.

You are making the assumption it won't be in Alabama.
and democrat senators must get permission from Schumer to vote differently from him

Again, why do you people keep pretending that Trump's major policies are popular?
They aren't.
They aren't.

Exactly.
Trump told Alabama to vote for Strange to support his agenda, did they listen?
Trump told Alabama to vote for Moore to support his agenda, did they listen?
What evidence is there that 2020 Trump in Alabama will be any different?

Hard hitting analysis there, Jesus

He'll represent Alabama, which is what we elected him to do. And God knows we have a lot of problems. Economy, health care, infrastructure. If Trump wants to push that, Doug will vote with him. If he wants to give more handouts to corporations and have our grandchildren pay for it, well, he'll be over with Chuck and Nancy.
