I don’t get it. You ONLY had 3 beers so your pissed you got a DWI. But you didn’t blow because you thought 3 beers while eating lunch would be above legal limit.
Why not just blow? If refusing gets you the DWI, then roll the dice and blow. What you got to lose?

I feel for you man. Plenty of us have done the same thing but got lucky. I'm not a drinker, haven't had any alcohol in over 3 years but I have other substance abuse problems.
The main point is if you're going to drive buzzed or with illegal substances on you , you have to make sure your vehicle us 100% legal.

The good news is that this too shall pass with a competent lawyer. A DUI charge like yours is more about generating revenue than saving lives so just go through the process and pay the fees along the way. Learn from your mistake and move on.

4 light beers in 2.5 hours and the cop has reason to believe you were inebriated? Yeah, gonna call bs on that one unless OP is 130 lbs.

This. I have a breathalyzer at home, and four beers in 2.5 hours gets me to around .03 or .04
