I just want everyone here who isn’t at work today to know that you’re an a-hole.

I've gotten to where I like the messed up racks more than I do the perfect ones. Gives em character.

Went for a walk about. Was nice, but didn't see anything even though I would of not shot. To dam cold to be cleaning a deer.

They’re delicious. We’ve never actually set up for a sandhill hunt but they get in here pretty thick and we shoot a handful of them every year in passing.

Heading out to rattle on the low fence property with my little cousin. Hopefully we can get him on a buck.

Most of the snow has melted, precipitation has stopped, and the squirrels are having an orgy.

Should be an exciting evening. Good luck y'all.

Back at it

Tilden, TX
56*, sunny and windy
270

The snow has melted and turned everything into a muddy mess, but it was worth it. A doe and fawn were in here when we walked in and never left. If this morning was any indication, this weather has them up and on their feet.

Saw a shooter chasing this morning in the snow but couldn't get a shot. What an experience. Back in same spot
Today is one of those days that just make ya feel so grateful to be able to do this.

Still no electricity at home so moved the family over to the in laws and got my butt up in a stand.

No idea why I’m hunting though. I never see shite when we get snow. Gonna set my alarm for 5 and take a nap
