If there were 49 votes they'd vote no.
Since the bill is going to pass anyway they can vote 'yes' and their votes are irrelevant, and now they will go into reelection claiming to have voted for it and supported it, when they really didn't.

I would also add that if any Democrat votes yes then you can bet they be from a state that trump won and they are currently up for reelection.

Yep. They are trying to protect their vulnerable seats. Voting against a tax cut is a big problem.
Why do Democrats not want to give you a tax cut?

Doesn't even make sense in reference to what was posted.
He's no friend to Veterans even though he is one. I served 20 years myself and he's done nothing positive for Veterans in decades.
He's one of the first ones every year trying to screw up our benefits anyway he can.
