We beat A&M for the 7th straight year, we have a coach that went 9-3 in year 1, and they just guaranteed 10 years to a coach currently on a downward trend as bad or worse than the coach we recently fired and we are fricking melting

we beat all those bad teams this year and everyone is fired up.
next year sees byu and tennessee replaced with miami and uga so we're already at 7-5 at best. Bowl eligibility will be a success next year.

There are so many more "WHY ARE ALL YOU PUSSIES MELTING" threads than there are threads of people actually panicking. I think people largely are just being rational. ATM got a major upgrade and a great recruiter and we have to face him every year. It's not by any means terrible news but are we supposed to act like its good news?

pro-O, neg-O- I don't care. im an lsu fan and the program is bigger than a player or coach. the O love vs. O bashing gets old. recruiting is in full swing. we still have another football game before the dead of winter sets in. im gonna enjoy whats left. I wait way too long and it goes by way too fast. we didn't have to fire our coach. we have post season play.

I had to re-read that statement a few times because at first I thought you might have been talking about Miles and Orgeron.
We just spent 12 million to fire a coach with a winning record to hire one with a losing record and so far nothing has happened which indicates we are better off for it. Alleva is an embarrassment.
Seriously, are you Orgeron fans just refusing to acknowledg the 9-3 record must have been helped by the horrible state of most of the teams on our schedule? I can't imagine the confusion you'll feel when next year seems so much harder for no apparent reason.

Not melting at all... I think A$M way over paid for Jimbo. I would have taken him in 2015 for what we were paying Les but no more. To me they were one in the same.
Here is the truth that hurts many fans including me. A$M wanted to make a change and improve their coaching position and they did. They didn't waiver or run to assist coaches when the stakes got high. We did. Props to them for getting their guy.

No shiiat. Jimbo is 14-10. We would go nuts if Jimbo was 14-10 in 3 years here. And 14-10 is with an easier schedule to navigate.

some of these bozo's disdain for Orgeron is such that the Troy loss was probably one of the highlights of 2017.
