When does Les Miles replace Joe Alleva as AD?

Watching Phil Fulmer become Tennessee's AD just makes me think that Les Miles is the type of guy to eventually do the same thing. Would it have to be something as ugly as what's going on in Knoxville? As much as Les loves LSU, it seems like a pretty obvious choice to me. Also, one of Les's good qualities was his ability to hire good assistants like Aranda, Orgeron, Frank Wilson, Tommy Robinson, Chavis, Bo Pelini, and Mike Gundy when he was at OK State.

At least LSU would have an AD with moral character and an outstanding diplomat. Alleva is scum that never should have been allowed off the plane to interview with LSU.

Form a picket line and petition for it

Those Sunday film sessions would be hilarious.

the fact that Les just bought a new house in BR and seems dead set on remaining a local makes me think he's waiting on something like this.

There aren't many options that would be better as an AD for LSU. You would be hard pressed to find someone that loves the university as much as that man does.

Don't think I would want Miles picking coaches... esp. football.

Because choosing a candidate for a position based on how much they love it and want it is the only real criteria that matters

No but do you think Aleva really gives a shite about doing good things for LSU? a-hole is just trying not to get canned at this point.
O definetly wasn't anyone's first choice (and admittedly has turned out to do okay in his first year), but was a knee jerk hire to protect his job when his best two options failed - which were his fault.

Paul Mainieri has a better chance of becoming AD than Miles.

Joe worked pretty hard behind the scenes to get Miles fires; it would be sweetly ironic if Miles replaced Joe.

I support this.
I really do.
I really do.

Please. Don't you think if he were worth hiring somebody else would have already done so? There are a few openings or haven't you noticed?
