Put your cards on the table and be counted. First, answer Yea or Nay (or Yes or No if you prefer). Then comment or explain your answer if you want.

How about up vote for yes and down vote for no?

If Fisher flames at a7m, their program is in shambles for the next decade. Too much risk, not enough reward.

If Orgeron was the alternative, yes.

No because that salary is a death sentence. It means that he either produces on Saban's level or he is under performing his contract. It's that simple.

That wouldn't be people putting their cards on the table.

Probably not. Its &7 mil a year for ten years right? Thats pretty risky

He's a solid coach and will have success at a&m but im not so sure they win an NC under him. Fsu beat an overrated auburn team that lost to lsu that year, needed miracles to beat georgia and bama at home, and went 3-9 the previous year.

Yes.

How long have we as LSU as a program been dying for offense and good quarterback play?

I don’t think there is a more proven coach that could reestablish credibility at the most important position on the field than Jimbo.

It is a huge deal, yes. But it amounts to about double what we are paying O anyway, and I think the results would be significantly better with Jimbo than with O.

And because not paying that deal ultimately got us O.

People act like this money is coming out of your wallet. Are any of you getting refunds because we saved money on Orgeron? Are you seeing less costs increases anywhere in the program? No. You arent. The money saved by going cheaper on a coach will just get spent on another sport that you probably dont give two shits about.

And I will add, the money LSU lost this year with lack of attendance to games after Troy and MSU would prob cover the difference between Jimbo and O's salary.

No. However with a competent AD I don’t believe we would have had to.
