Why does this matter? It happened 15+yrs ago. His D beat 2 #1 teams in the last few weeks, and is playing in the seccg.
You secw guys should be hoping for this as Auburns D may stumble next year.

I don't know how Steele would do at HC, but there is a huge difference between being a DC and being the head man of a major SEC program.
Steele was horrible at Baylor. He was terrible at DC at Clemson. Was below average at LSU. Has been really good at Auburn. He must be a decent coach to keep getting hired. But being the head man, especially at the position UT is at right now is a whole different animal.

Lol there can’t be any truth to this but if it is wow. Whoever is Tennessees rival will be happy.
