With Mark Ingram joining the 5000 yard club last week, I wanted to go through and see how many backs have made that milestone for a single franchise.

So only 17 players have rushed for 10,000 yards and of that elite group - only three have rushed for more than 15,000 yards (Walter Payton, Emmitt Smith, and Barry Sanders!).

Jim Brown retired early at the top of his game. He could hav probably played another 4 to 5 years at a high level averaging over 100 yards in a 14 game schedule so he would have likely finished with 18,000 to 20,000 yards if he could have avoided serious injuries.

I don't remember Pete Johnson getting the ball that much. I remember him being a goaline guy.

I think Warrick Dunn is an error. I don't think he rushed for $5k plus with Atlanta, I'm pretty sure he did it with Tampa.
