Williams is an exceptional back as well. His patience, toughness, and pass-catching ability will have him playing in the NFL.

He has done the most to help his draft stock this year. He does everything well and he has proven to be really hard to bring down after he picks up a nice gain.

Just my .02, but Williams is playing tough this year. Running like a man possessed. I think he will be a great red zone back in the NFL.

Williams is deadly at his current weight/mobility.

He’s an acceptable - not good - second string back. You guys are showing what idiots you are by putting Williams in the same sentence with Guice. He is not nearly that caliber back. He might not be drafted.

Yeah, been saying all year that this version of D Williams is like Spencer Ware. If he can run in the 4.6s at this weight, he will make a team for a few years.

How dense are you to think that OP is saying he's as good as Guice? He's just giving him his deserved praise. He's had a hell of a year

He wrote that Williams is an exceptional back. Now that is a relative term, but surely it puts Williams in the top echelon - say 20% - of SEC backs. He is not. He wouldn’t start for more than half the SEC teams.

He has below average speed, decent vision, decent power - not good power. There is nothing exceptional about Williams’ ability. He is a solid backup - not what Bama has in Scarborough, or what Georgia has in Michel - but he might be the fifth best second string back in the SEC.

If that’s exceptional to you guys then I stand corrected.

He has really come on this year

I watched Him play against my brother when he was in a sophomore high school. He was far and beyond the beat player in the field and I just remember thinking that LSU needed to get this guy.

He has been instrumental in this season’s success.
