Does everybody have a "medical condition" these days that requires some sort of special accommodation?

A judge has decided that a sorority sister who uses a service dog can return to live in the Chi Omega house at The Ohio State University for now, even though another sister claims that she's allergic to the dog and it's making medical conditions she suffers from even worse.

Carly Goldman (pictured) complained that Entine's dog was causing her allergies to flare up. She told the judge at a hearing last month that the dog's presence aggravated digestive issues that left her ill for weeks

Only one way to solve this: throw them in the Thunderdome

Like being “allergic” to dogs?

Been my experience that there's plenty of dogs already in some sorority houses.
I wasn't allergic to all of them.
I wasn't allergic to all of them.

Panic attacks. the fibromyalgia of mental health issues.

Why would you even want to live in a sorority house if you have a service dog? You just keep it in a dorm room with no backyard?

Why does that chick need a fricking dog? Take a Xanax like 95% of the other sororitutes.
On a side note, how pathetic do you have to be that you can’t live alone without a dog by your side? I’d be embarrassed if I was this girl. But that’s the problem with the world today. What used to embarrass people 20 years ago is just normal shite for people nowadays.

Chi Ho, Chi Ho, it's off to bed they go ...

From the article it appears that the girl with the dog suffers some pretty severe panic attacks - becoming physically incapacitated and unable to rise from the ground, and the dog helps this.
It says the other girl with the allergy only complained to her sisters after a couple of weeks. To me, this says that her allergy isn’t very severe; if it was she would’ve complained immediately.
Now, I’m all for a private establishment being able to make their own such decisions, I’m all for reasonable accommodations on public property, and I’m usually of the opinion that most “therapy dogs” are taking advantage of the system ... but I’m inclined to side with the dog in this case.

Allergy girl is just mad because her sister won't loan her the dog for a peanut butter party.

I guess it boils down to which one deep throats the best.

Some of you need to take a walk around campus, especially a liberal one. There are lots of people walking around with "service dogs" with the little vest on. Best are the ones that say "emotional support".
I love dogs and really enjoy seeing them on campus. I'd rather people just get dogs certified in good behavior, so they won't disturb classes and so forth, and then just let students pay a fee to be able to take their dog with them on campus. But this nonsense with them being service dogs is just absurd. I swear some of them just have the dog so they can use it to pull them around on their skateboard. Seriously.
We are watching as society denies natural selection from exacting its toll upon the genome. It's time to introduce bans to reproduction.
