I think it’s ridiculous because it’s putting religious garb on a doll. The typical Barbie isn’t wearing a cross and carrying the Bible.
At the end of the day, whatever. Let the free market work. If people want to buy religiously oppressed Barbie then so be it. It’s a symptom of the larger problem in America.

I’m not reading through 5 pages of people bitching about this, but I’ll just add my two cents.
I genuinely couldn’t care less about this. It will have exactly zero impact on my life. And if Matel thinks this will make them more money (because at the end of the day, that’s all these decisions are ever truly about) then good for them and their shareholders.
