When people ask "where to dine" just point them to Eater 38 list and let them decide.

I'm surprised Husk isn't on there representing Charleston.

Just had a fine meal at Highlands Bar Grille in Bham other week. We try to go once a year when visiting my parents.

I’ve don’t a ton of research on my upcoming trip to Charleston and Bertha rarely comes up. Has anyone here been or know someone that has? Worthy of being on this list?

La Petite Grocery is one of my favorites. I have been there numerous times. The only other restaurant on that list I have been to is Hugo's in Houston. Their roasted duck with mole' poblano sauce is outstanding. I will have to try Compere Lapin.
