I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will look with respect and esteem upon all those who have taught me my art. To my college I will be loyal and strive always for its best interests and for the interests of the students who will come after me. I will be ever alert to further the application of basic biologic truths to the healing arts and to develop the principles of osteopathy which were first enunciated by Andrew Taylor Still

“I will follow that system of regimen which, according to my ability and judgment, I consider for the benefit of my patients, and abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous.”

“The physician must be able to tell the antecedents, know the present, and foretell the future — must mediate these things, and have two special objects in view with regard to disease, namely, to do good or to do no harm.”

So this is pure speculation...?
Wouldn't it be a lot easier just to adopt...?

frick that shite. Science is fricking with nature and God's will too much and any day now, Jesus Christ himself is going to descend from the heavens and start wrecking shite.

And rob a man of the miracle of pregnancy? What an a-hole suggestion.

Any progress on that cure for cancer, guys?
We'll get right on it once mentally ill guys are able to give birth out of the place their penis used to be.

Despite advances, womb transplant is still very much an experimental procedure, with British experts warning that initiating a pregnancy in a transgender woman may be unethical as it could pose “significant” risk to the fetus.
It can't be unethical because it's not a human being until we say it is.

Seriously though. Imagine how much further along we'd be as a civilization without women. This is assuming we've had the whole reproduction / sexual needs part satisfied elsewhere.
No crazy, no nagging, no people doing stupid stuff to impress women, etc. I'd imagine many a successful men have had careers and potentially life-changing breakthroughs stifled by women in their lives.

Scientists are wasting time figuring out how to make men have babies while us innocent hangover sufferers are languishing over here without a cure :(

I think this is fascinating.
Let's say a guy were to undergo gender re-assignment surgery and have a uterus transplant. Obviously he wouldn't be able to produce his own eggs so he'd have to get an already fertilized egg implanted.
Would it attach?
If it attached, how many complications would there be?
Most importantly, let's say all of the above goes best case scenario. How does the guy push the baby out? Their body doesn't have the "instructions" on how to do that. So would they have to have a C-section in every case?
