I live in the city limits (been here since May of 2013) and have never smelled it for an instant. Not saying some folks don’t, but ournneighborhood must be positioned well.

I smell it on the interstate about halfway between walker and satsuma exits. It smells like the whole town farted at once.

I love a high school band at football games. Completely establishes the game day vibe. But I never understood the halftime show.

Playing music while making patterns on the field just seems odd. Different strokes...

Congrats tho.

In high school, that halftime show is actually what the marching band performs at various competitions throughout the competition season, including state championships. The halftime performances are basically a dress rehearsal.

In a good marching band, the students actually really put in A LOT of hard work. This includes summer preseason camp, multiple practices a week, and high school football games on top of that.

And we are building a new office about 1/2 mile from there. I have been in protest for a few months now to no avail. Land is 1/2 the cost that it is in Prairieville. I still think that is overpriced.

My son is in the Walker Band. They are phenomenal! And as someone who played sports my whole life, it amazes me how much hard work they put in.

That's because there is hardly ever wind from the east. Normally its either from the northwest or south.

If he goes to college, try to sway him to do college marching band.

It is an unforgettable experience.

That's well-done, congratulations!!

Live Oak H.S. came down to Metairie, last Monday, to march in our L.M.E.A. district marching band assessment. I was a little surprised by that. Loranger participated as well.

And just when I thought people who cared about high school football that aren't in high school were losers. You took it to a whole new level.
