Going to halftime:

"Etling may have played his best half ever"

I was like, does he have money on the game or watching same game as me?

He wanted to complement a block on Key then saw in the replay the bump tackled him, Danielson switched gears and called it a “swipe” whatever the frick that is

What game were you morons watching?

He even took up for Alexander after he got belted on the sideline. Talked nonstop praise for White and Thompson. Praised Canada, Aranda.

They dont hear any of that stuff. Ever. There has never been an announcer to do a good job at calling an LSU football game. Ever.

The full quote was, "Oh! no... I thought sure (tight end) had it." This is the most misquoted line and unfair Verne bashing ever.

BTW he's said "Oh No" like a thousand time when calling a big play...for a bunch of teams.

I thought he was complimenting Etling. He also kept saying stuff like, "we have ourselves a ball game".

Good news is he did not affect the outcome of the game!

I couldn’t listen to the CBS broadcast team because of Danielson, so I muted the audio and listened to Chris Blair.

I really like how Danielson calls the games. He’s fair and pretty much says it how it is. That’s why he ends up offending the overly sensitive homers out there from every fanbase.

He said LSU caught a huge break when they called holding on bama for tackling key. Huge break? Wtf?

How about the perfectly executed crack back block by Bama that he campaigned against just a few weeks ago on a targetting call.

Face it Gary fricking sucks, deal with it.

Gary- "That was a great crack back block right there. I mean, not a crack back because that would be illegal."

There was more coverage of Minka Fitzpatrick on the sidelines than actual game.

What'd his dad tell him? Not to go back into the game until the coaches told him it was okay so he would be healthy/ready.
