Muggy but little bit of a breeze
Bow in a ladder
Hoping to stick a doe, lots of deer seen on the weekend but no shots
Bad head, six year old at the camp last night asked me why I drink beer, and I told him “Alabama”

Low 70's and breezy
Want to shoot a doe, will continue the hog slaughter if opportunity presents itself.

Wednesday and Thursday, yes. No chasing since it warmed up. Should crank back up Tuesday and the remainder of the week.

Same quad pod stand.
Wife got a cow horn spike yesterday evening.
Thank God it’s not as hot as yesterday.

Daughter shot a small yearling yesterday for youth opener. Now she wants me to sit with her to make sure she doesn't make same mistake again.

It won’t be a mistake when it comes out the fryer.

Got one with the bow a couple weeks ago before he arrived, not sure how many other opportunities I'll get this year.

I’ve killed plenty of does with yearlings, but right now we still have a few with spots. I watched one nurse Friday evening. If the yearling has gotten its winter coat all bets are off, but I don’t need the meat bad enough to watch a fawn bleat at a dead doe.

Box stand over looking plot
7mm-08
Thermocell in full blast
Took the eldest Chandler boy this morning
Haven’t seen anything. Probably don’t help that he doesn’t sit still and has been munching cheese nips all morning. Sounds like Bigfoot walking through the woods.
