Wednesday and Thursday, yes. No chasing since it warmed up. Should crank back up Tuesday and the remainder of the week.

Same quad pod stand.

Wife got a cow horn spike yesterday evening.
Thank God it’s not as hot as yesterday.

Daughter shot a small yearling yesterday for youth opener. Now she wants me to sit with her to make sure she doesn't make same mistake again.

I’ve killed plenty of does with yearlings, but right now we still have a few with spots. I watched one nurse Friday evening. If the yearling has gotten its winter coat all bets are off, but I don’t need the meat bad enough to watch a fawn bleat at a dead doe.

Took the eldest Chandler boy this morning

Haven’t seen anything. Probably don’t help that he doesn’t sit still and has been munching cheese nips all morning. Sounds like Bigfoot walking through the woods.
