Girlfriend and I were lucky enough to find two tickets for less than face value for 1 ticket on the 12th row, 40 yard line behind the LSU bench just minutes prior to kickoff. I was impressed with how well LSU held up in the trenches. I'd say y'all actually won the battle on both lines of scrimmage. We were a few Jalen Hurts scrambles and a couple of Hurts throws from being in really big trouble. I honestly don't understand why y'all haven't done more motion at the line of scrimmage all year. All the sweep/fake sweep motions gave our defense problems. Etling looked really good too. He just barely missed on a couple of deep balls where your receivers were open. Etling is decent but y'all need to stick with the offensive game plan from Saturday while adding a Hurts type run threat at quarterback.

P.S. I'm afraid all the linebacker injuries are going to catch up with us against Auburn and Georgia.

I get the interchanges with the fans of the other team, and being complimentary and all that.

But, really and truly, what does it really matter when fans say "y'all scared us....y'all should have beaten us..." and all that? I know I say it too, I get involved.

But, so what? We don't go on the field and play, so if we're nervous or scared, or whatever, we're just fans.

I think your vantage point was obstructed during the game. For every good throw, Etling had an equally horrible throw or read. Hurts made the plays that won the game for Alabama. Etling's play was the difference for LSU.

Alabama has recruited well enough to plug in freshmen LBs and still beat Auburn and Georgia.

Went also. Good experience overall. Worst thing was the piped in music. While Tiger Stadium, the Dome, etc. all have it, this was the worst, loudest, god awful music piping in I've ever experienced. Seems like every second play wasn't happening they were blasting it, and especially when LSU had the ball.

Athens is a far better road trip experience than Tuscaloosa

I have to disagree here. I enjoy going to Tuscaloosa. When you get away from the internet and bandwagon Louisiana Bama fans, they are good people. I dislike losing and it was hard to interact with after. But like someone posted, they were more positive about LSU. It is still a tough loss.

I was a little disappointed in the tailgating crowd this year. At least in our normal spot, there were huge empty spaces that are usually full. Not sure why.

Other than that, weather was great, everyone seemed to be chill and got along, even after the game, and LSU fought hard. Still can't wait to walk out of that stadium after a Tiger win again.

I Second that Heavy D. I had a blast in T-town. Bama fans were solid this trip. Many of them said shite ya'll gave us hell and was even invited to hangout at a tailgate scene til traffic died. Most of the bad bammers are mainly on social media and the ratchet ones in Louisiana. the worst trip ever to T-town was the 2005 game and few came close to how bad that trip was.

I’ve been going to gumpville since 99 when I was a student... almost every time since then, nobody talked shite to us before the game for the first time: The fans treated us like we were Kentucky... invisible. Afterwards we got a bunch of bassackwards compliments about nobody thought it was going to be that close... I hate gumps, and will continue to not miss a game especially until we beat them

4. Offensive line... Wow, best they've been against Bama in years.
That doesn't mean consistently "Good Enough" to win the SEC West/SEC...........
