FBI agents manhandled Manafort and his wife during pre-dawn raid in intimidation effort
by Rowan Scarborough
November 1, 2017
Just how rough special counsel Robert Mueller is playing with Paul Manafort goes back before this week’s indictment — to the FBI’s no-knock raid in July.
It has been reported that the agents checked Mr. Manafort and wife Kathleen for guns as they broke into the Alexandria condo pre-dawn by picking the lock.
A source familiar with the case told The Washington Times the search was even more intrusive: An agent patted down Mrs. Manafort before she was allowed to get out of bed.
“Agents felt up Mrs. Manafort lying in bed to see if she had guns,” the source said of the intimidation.
In all, 12 FBI agents entered the home, guns drawn, and stayed for hours.
The aggressive search of a prone sleepy woman is, the source said, a hallmark of Mr. Mueller’s top prosecutor, Andrew Weissmann. A former mob prosecutor in New York, he specializes in turning witnesses against bigger prey and is not afraid to make things rough for spouses, too.

This little piece of excrement needs to get flushed.

If they had found one, would they have shot her?
" Mr. Manafort, is that a gun in your pocket, are or you just happy to see us?!"

I thought liberals believed in guilt being proven in a court of law? ITT, liberals will cheer on police brutality

They picked the lock....what would have happened if someone had noticed the attempted break in and Manafort blows a couple of them away as they enter?
No way he knows who it is breaking in.
No way he knows who it is breaking in.

Words cannot express how deeply troubled I am to hear of this inexcusable treatment of such fine, upstanding people as the Manaforts.

So, are you going on the record as being for brutality in LE raids and searches?
Posted on 11/3/17 at 7:44 am to AUbused
Next time it could be YOU. I hope it is. There was no need, they could have shown up at 8 am served the warrant and searched the premises.

I’m shocked that a mouth breather like you would be against due process and proper treatment of accused citizens.

First of all, where are the cries of "FAKE NEWS!!". I surely couldn't be because we are sympathetic to the subject could it? Second, where exactly is the brutality again? I missed the part where the agent raped her with the barrel of his Sig 40. Maybe well-to-do Mrs. Manafort just isn't accustomed to being treated to a pat down and so was thoroughly offended? She may want to thank her husband for that given his very well document track record of selling out his country and laundering the money.
Fortunatley, they'll have plenty of time to discuss the matter via letters to the pen.

So in your world, only certain people deserve rights? I guess we should stop having defense for rapists huh?

Part of the process when you launder money for Russian organized crime.

Where were her rights violated again? The agents were executing a search warrant folks.

You didn't answer my question or you don't want to admit your hypocrisy

Kicking down someone's door in the dead of night over a tax fraud issue?!

How can I answer your question regarding brutality when no brutality has been described? A pat down to check for weapons is not brutality and call me skeptical that the agent slid a finger in while doing so until I see some corroborating evidence.
