true, but are the effects are as severe on groups as they are on single payers?

We hadn't met the ridiculous deductible for the year.

It's typically baked into your offer sheet, and quite frankly I could easily go find another job in my field with the same or better benefits if they wanted to shite on their employees.

I think mine is the same. Who do you have?

united currently, but my company is switching to BCBS for 2018. coverage is identical.
I could pay extra premium to lower it to like $500 but it wasn't work it. max out of pocket is $3000 and the other was $2500.

My wife and daughter are on the wife's plan. Deductible is $1,800. So we have to meet the deductible before the co-pay kicks in.
$5,000 out of pocket maximum (in network).

Mine hasn't had a major increase. I guess I been in MAGA mode for years.
Posted on 11/1/17 at 10:26 am to 50_Tiger
so your in network deductible and out of pocket max are better than mine obviously, but my copays are $25 and 100% coverage on basically everything. the only thing that isn't is radiology and inpatient/outpatient hospital that is at 80% after my $700 deductible and specialist is 100% after $50 copay.
cost is $65 to me. man it's awesome to have great healthcare being self employed and paying 100% out of pocket for shite coverage sucked
