If they would carry a sign to indicate they are good kids, I’ll give the outsiders some.....

Cause we build in neighborhoods to escape the ghetto.

Better yet, why don't you quit being a whiny little bitch and go to those neighborhoods to pass out candy if you're so concerned about it?

I'm a whiny bitch because I don't discriminate during Halloween?

Quite the close minded life you lead. I'm sorry. I hope you don't raise your kids in the same spirit.

This is all I've seen. This thread is extremely exaggerated in the negative.

Fat people lack restraint and common decency and have an inflated sense of entitlement. It's not surprising that lady is fat. The only shocking thing is that she can move as quickly as she does.

Used to be a real problem, but I decided to get into the Halloween spirit.

I put on a cop costume and stand in the front yard tasing the dog. Exceptional results.

Don't like parents trying to make a nice night for their children? Maybe trying to give their kids something they typically can't?

It's like the Christmas version of the Grinch around here.

It's kind of amazing to me that people would, uninvited, decide it's ok to bring their kids to someone else's neighborhood for Halloween.

If you were poor and had a child, but lived in an unsafe neighborhood, what would you do for them on Halloween?

I'd probably reach out to the people I knew and ask if we could go trick-or-treating with them. There is zero chance I'd just show up somewhere.

It's not the kids I'm opposed to, it's their shitty parents that take over the neighborhood and insist on driving instead of walking their kids. They pull off into front yards with flatbed trailers, take over the road and completely cut off thru traffic. Also, they are often drinking and smoking in front of young kids.

The kids are welcome, but the parents should act like guests and respect the trick or treating instead of acting like they own the neighborhood and it's interfering with happy hour.

There will inevitably be teenagers without a costume roaming in packs and up to no good.

Instead of walking they will all pile into their cars and just ride around the streets until they see decent houses.

Because it’s not like they are invited by the residents of that neighborhood. They just pick ripe targets.

If so many people hadn’t had bad experiences with these types of groups it wouldn’t be an issue.

The one thing I don't like about it is that it's not fair to the kids that live there in the neighborhood. If too many people come into the neighborhood that don't live there, people run out of candy early and kids who live there may not get their share.

This is what it boils down to. No one would care if 4-10 year olds showed up in a costume asking please for candy.

Its the behavior that's typical of the group in question here that puts decent people off.
