We have all accepted he is basically just a mascot at this point and needs to stay out of the way of his OC and DC.

this narrative is really stupid. you, and others espousing this, don't know shite about how a football team works. the vast majority of HC's do very little coaching. O does some on the DL just like Miles did on the OL. it is basically the asst coaches job to do most of the individualall coaching while the HC sets the objectives of the practices, oversees the coaches and about a million other things. all you see is the games so you see O on the sideline and ASSUME that's all he does. I guess you think all a pro golfer does is play in tournaments. you don't attend practice nor do you know anything about watching film or establishing game plans.

so YOU and your ilk are the ones "accepting" that O is just a "mascot". it really reeks of ignorance, not to mention hate. and the funny thing is that you don't even know that people that know football are laughing at you.

What happened when he tried to interfere with the play calling during Troy and MS State?

Exactly.

My point is that unlike other HCs he delivers absolutely no value to the DC or OC and needs to stay out of the way.

Nice try Derek

Sounds like 2012 when we should have whipped their asses all over the field but kept running trick plays that cost us the game.

Stay to our strength. Nothing fancy. We have the horses to win if we execute well.

Hopefully the team plays disciplined ball and doesn't give the game away with a needless personal foul at the end.

How do you know LSU won't load up to stop a running QB and force him to pass?

It's not a question of won't. It's a question of can't.

Several of our opponents have been able to run against us VERY effectively.

Saban wants to destroy us for recruiting material against us. He will run on our weak DL, and stuff our run and sweeps and pressure DE when he tries to pass. Bama crowd, our youth....there is a reason we are a 3td dog. A few breaks our way with turnovers, Guice breaking a few, and we can keep it close. If so we have a punches chance. But likely a bad loss.

Can name plenty that I don't miss about Miles, like his time clock management, but I'm trying to stay positive for the Tigers. Sack Saban's asss, come home with a win!

Could it mean Canada sends the fullbacks out on fly patterns? What IS this newfound stratagem?

The big surprise is LSU's coaching staff actually coming up with an offensive game plan. They haven't done that since 2011.

Alabama at night.....that atmosphere is not an easy one to play in. I think the receivers(Charknado) will have to really up their game in this one.
