we need balance in society to buffer the extremes of either side of the spectrum. history sort of taught us that. that is theoretically the basis of our democracy like it or not. not to say far left today is too far left, they are, but imagine the far right being solely in control. how far right would it drift without some tension???? moderation keeps us on the correct path. an open mind seems to be a good thing!!! try it.

This was true 30 years ago. Not today's liberals. That was a classical liberal thing. Today's progressives don't have a lick of talent they are useless miserable human beings. There is a difference in a classic liberal and a progressive. Progressives are the types that want gray soviet block apartments and no cultural identity. Just look how they oppose any sort of culture because it offends some group.

Some of us don't fit in on either side, believe it or not.

For example, I'm pro-choice, against unnecessary war, against playing world police, pro-marijuana legalization, pro-gay marriage, pro-DACA. I'm for stem cell research and physician assisted suicide. I don't think that religion has any place in our government.

On the other hand, I'm sick of higher taxes, sick of wasteful government spending, sick of welfare leeches (especially those who buy crab legs and steak and pop out another baby every year.) I'm pro-Second Amendment, I'm over the whole transgender thing. I'm not in favor of supporting illegal immigrants who came here as adults knowing that they were committing a crime and I think they should be deported. I'm against affirmative action. I think that it once had a place but isn't needed in todays society. I believe in the free market. I'm against Obamacare. I'm against civil asset forfeiture. I think that social security should be privatized.

They are not. They are Democrats because the Democrat Party has stood for nothing but cronyism since its beginning.

that is my point. we need people in the middle and not married to any side in total. we should be able and free to individually decide and debate honestly without extremists refusing to even listen.

Liberals aren't special. Plenty of freeloaders claim to be conservatives.

The concept that all men are created equal was a very liberal concept in it's time.

Well.. in hitleresque fashion, they have conditioned a large portion of their country's population,to dehumanize people of a certain race. By utilizing universities, media and politicians to spread their propaganda.

That's not really of value, but they are busy bees.

Liberals serve as a role model for everything you do not want to be or believe!
