A reporter for Free Beacon posted it on twitter.

Bush was a good guy deep inside. Flawed in many ways by his father's new world order views, but he was deeply committed to the troops that served under him.

I wonder if Bush 43 will ever truly acknowledge he made a catastrophic mistake allowing Cheney and Rumsfeld to not just be a part of his White House but the goddamn VP and SecDef.
Those two did not have this country's best interests or even the administration's best interests at hear.
But still the blame lies squarely with Bush for listening to them over Condi and Powell.

In this day and age, how can anyone still believe this is remotely possible?

Junior trying to get revenge for the assassination attempt on Dad was not Junior's smartest move in his eight years in office.

I doubt Obama could have called every one or even most. I think there were still 500 KIA's in his first year in office between Iraq and Afghanistan.
Trump has had 25 so far?
Obviously impossible for W.

Nonsense, every Tom, Dick, and Harry knew that Saadam had WMD's. For Christ sakes, he used them on the Kurds in his own country multiple times.
Now, whether that was a good reason to invade Iraq and start a decades long occupation is another story, but for absolute certain Saadam had WMDs

Okay some random unnamed bush staffer has spoken. That settles it then

The CIA bullshitted about WMDs too. This was a case of the Whitehouse telling the deep state to find a reason to go to war, and the CIA producing whatever they wanted.

The Clintons? Obama? Trump?
Do yourself a favor and try to find a couple of fricking brain cells to rub together before you post.

Generally works for "unnamed sources within Washington", so why not here as well?

It's better than some random, anonymous shite lord named Bison.

quote:Exactly. I like Rice. I think she's brilliant enough that her intelligence overcomes her unfortunate horse mouth to makes her attractive to people that dig on intelligence. However, she's guilty of giving Bush and Congress what was needed in order to go to war in Iraq, when it was unnecessary and the wrong target and they were completely wrong on the WMD argument. She is one of the major reasons Europe is in the awful position its in now.

Pretty sure tenet was on the record as telling them no wmd's. Who wants to hear that when you've created your office of special plans to fabricate and stretch intel. I forgot what happened when we found out that yellowcake uranium lie was exactly what it was, a lie. I know it wasn't leaking the name of a cia asset to the press, and the presedential pardons for those convicted for doing such. Such great people.
