Peat is such a damn monster run blocking. Crushes corners, stonewall linebackers and pushes around D-lineman.
I wish he was better pass protecting

We block like that and we will have a very exciting season

When I look at Peat it doesn't make sense to me that he can move the way he does. Incredibly agile for being that damn big.

Don't let Ramczyk go unnoticed in those plays. Kid is playing way better than Armstead, Strief, and Peat as rookies.

One week at a time but its all coming together!
The next three weeks will tell us if were a playoff team or not.
Three games we can win if we keep improving.

But I thought we was a failed project?
Can we still call him Project Peat.
In all seriousness. Ram looks to be a steal where we got him in the first. With our starting line intact we have one of the best in the league. Brees had clean pockets most of the day which is why it's odd he struggled. But like anything sometimes you have off days. Fortunately Drew's strengths has always been his accuracy and his ability to read Defenses, and that doesn't regress as much as arm strength with age. Our young defense is maturing quickly which makes this year and future ones look bright. The Heir to QB needs to become a priority quickly though.

Wow, that is incredible. I gotta start paying more attention during games to what the Oline is doing. With Peat and a healthy Armstead the Saints have got to have the quickest, most athletic left side in the league.

He struggled because we didn't really run our offense. Once we had the huge lead he would hand off twice then throw. The Lions knew what he was going to do and were able to stop it. Our offense is predicated on rhythm that we weren't trying to get into. I hope that next time Payton will keep his foot on the gas.

Yes. Except, now it's because he's killing opponents as opposed to him being a project.

go watch the Ingram TD where he goes straight up the middle...
Peat pushes a dude back about 3 yds into the EZ... that's the block Ingram follows for the score

the Manhattan Project was just a project, too

I think Amrstead being out was huge. Now Peat can go back mauling people. We are strong up the middle.

That's the difference between being a big guy and being a big guy in the NFL-footwork. Some of those guys are dancing bears.

Warford has looked solid as well. I'd say the Saints have a top 5 OL

Angry armstead
Punisher peat
Ultra unger
Walrus Warford
Ramming Ramcyk
He better not play Harris
Best OL in the league

my father in law wanted to watch the jets game so I borrowed my friend's sunday ticket login credentials we switched between the saints/lions & pats/jets primarily
I have to say, the O-line play in the league has never been worse but the saints linemen were wrecking dudes

"rees had clean pockets most of the day which is why it's odd he struggled."
Another oddity with Brees struggling: at one point in the second half (I think) he was right at 80% completions. It really wasn't a game-long struggle, it was really just the second half and maybe not even all of it (haven't looked at precise stats; I am going off final stats and what I remember from the Dome). But he was dropping dimes early and really didn't late. Do note, though, that we had some odd, quick ends to drives that hurt Brees' ability to keep things going statistically. Ingram fumbles on a completion; Brees throws a pick that was looked a lot like a completion. Either way, the throw was good and was in Thomas' hands all the way to the ground. The Robinson pick is something you almost never see, a DL CATCHING the ball cleanly. Those balls are generally just tipped. Brees did, on the whole have a down day for him, but he did it in weird way and while completing 2/3 of his passes and not really putting the ball in harm's way down the field.
