Is Tom Benson running concessions at Tiger Stadium now???

Obviously not, he would be selling Dixie at import prices.

Aramark has just about the worst rating for any food vendor out there.......

Not sure how we decided to go with them

Look at the guy making the decision. Not sure why LSU went with a guy that shouldn't have been hired at a middle school after his last job performance.

As it was Africa hot there w the sun. Had another separate water stand water only in a bucket of ice.

What "concession provider" services all the stadium club sections ? Have Mr. Aleva and his administrators ever sat in non-club sections....i.e. you know, to like ascertain the performance of Aramark ? E-mail/contact information for those RESPONSIBLE for the current cluster%^$@ ?

I feel like I'm watching the beginnings of the French Revolution. The common people will not be silenced!

But in all seriousness it's a huge clusterfrick and they need to fix it. I just doubt the Athletic Department's awareness or ability to do so.

It's hard to squeeze money out of people when you run out of things to sell. LSU has no drinking fountains. Running out of water is bordering on the criminal.

and as you hinted ... LSU LOSES REVENUES as well.

total disrespect .. there should be new contracts with penalties next year

I sent a pointed email to Ronnie Haliburton, the AD for facilities at LSU. He sent an email back apologizing for the situation. I also got an email back from an Aramark guy who apparently runs concessions at LSU. He apologized as well, and had this bit of info in his email
quote:

we stocked Tiger Stadium with 127,385 thousand bottles of water, moved large containers into the stands in your section to have water iced to replenish in the coolers, with already cold water. This was the plan and it seems in your case we failed.

It's entirely possible that the plan was in place, but the less than capable workers didn't pull it off. I did mention that in the East Upper, we ran out of cold water in the 2nd quarter of TROY, so I don't think it was a demand issue as much as a process issue

LSU went with them because the contract says that LSU receives a set amount of money each year. The amount I can not recall but 2.5 million sounds right. LSU receives this amount whether they sell anything or not. So I can’t see how it’s better for the fans who purchase concessions.

I reported the concession stand nearest me to LSU.

The guy who runs it has been ridiculous, even to the point of keeping the bottle caps. You may not think this is a big deal, but wait until someone kicks over your $6.00 bottle of water.

Would be interesting to find out which Government Official directed which LSU Official to send a bid request to Aramark and then check all of their respective bank accounts & deposits about time of contract signing!

I'm not putting his name on blast here, sounds like he got thrown into the fire

If I remember correctly last year for an afternoon game LSU sold bottles of water for $2 and that had huge rolling tubs of them everywhere. So why don’t do the same thing this year Joe???

They 100% ABSOLUTELY did that last year .. LSU sent emails about the heat advisory and were offering water I believe half price and encouraging fans to stay hydrated. That's common sense of course but it showed LSU gave a crap. And they didn't run out of water either.

Can't remember which game it was but I clearly remember this happening.

That's barely one bottle per person if that stadium was to capacity. I often drink more than one. That's not enough.

Hamburgers right off the grill behind left field was the best
