Coach O told CBS last week that Brennan isn't ready for the SEC yet. Has O changed his opinion this week? How far along is Brennan?

Did he say he's not ready for the SEC or did he say he's not ready for this environment, meaning on the road at Florida?

Neither is Ed. What's his point?

This quote will be great to have rattling around brennan's head if/when Etling scrambles, gets hurt, and has to come out

Most freshman aren't. You either hold their feet to the fire and hope they learn (aTm & UGA this year) or you let them learn at their own pace. The former is almost always out of necessity. Thankfully LSU isn't in a position where Brennan absolutely has to play this year.

Y’all are some impatient frickers. He’s not ready. Let’s not give this kid the Jarrett Lee treatment

Wasn't a similar assessment made about Brandon Harris after his start at Auburn. Look how that turned out.

Apparently we forgot about he last time we trotted out a highly recruited, highly touted freshman quarterback for his first SEC start/game.

Brennan is VERY talented, VERY bright future, but starting as a true freshman in the SEC is a challenge few are ready for.

Dude will not be ready for another 3 years minimum. Next year is going to be ugly with him as QB. Worse than Etling.
