Etling has got to come out and say those things.
He could've gotten injured worse or couldve possibly lost the game for us.

Ok. Well that explains everything.

He's either exaggerating or lying, Etling's first play was a swing pass to Guice where a defender didn't get within 5 yards of him. Maybe he meant Etlings first run?

He isn't the first player to not disclose an injury.

I like his toughness, but that's not the sign of a leader. Don't put your team in a predicament because you can't swallow your pride.

Doesn't explain timing on throws though. That's internal not physical

I do remember after the first series the announcers said he was limping off the field and that he looked hurt

There's a youtube link of every play he made on the first page, should be pretty easy to see where he would have gotten hurt. I know he was almost sacked on the first 3rd down of the game, maybe he got hit and the camera didn't pick it up

I don't think Orgeron was using it to explain his performance. He said it as a way to talk about Etling's toughness.
I'm concerned about the positive reviews Orgeron is making about Etling. If that's really how he feels about him, then I think he's missing some problems with Etling's play that we're seeing these past 2 weeks that we hadn't seen before.

You wouldn't be saying this if he was throwing for 200+ yards a game.

If true, then that motherfrickers tougher than i thought. Step up Brennan.

I knew something was wrong, but that doesn't excuse the miss on Williams or poor clock management.

I wasn't hoping for all of these jet sweeps because of drops.

Etling is garbage. Injury or not. I’d take Anthony Jennings or Marcus Randall over him. Maybe even Hatch.

It is if he knows the guy behind him has no chance of getting it done. It's taking the team on your shoulders and putting them first.
