Really no reason Myles Brennan shouldn't at least get some reps now
Posted by LexisRouge on 11/4/18 at 11:23 am
He will get to keep his redshirt and it will give him some good experience. Tons of programs play their back up QBs all the time. Heck even Burrow got reps at Ohio State.
Now if these games the next two weeks are close in the 4th quarter that changes things, but I think we really need to take advantage of the new rule that allows him to get this experience and still redshirt

Last year LSU made 59.3% of field goal attempts

Amazing what a reliable kicker can do to change a team. It was devastating to our offense last year to drive down the field and get zero points. Single handily cost us the game against Notre Dame

Lol Ohio State fans shite on their starter J.T Barrett all the time.

Great talk. Saying that I don't care about the reason the offense sucks is because they are all excuses. This is O's second year and he is putting up the same offensive stats as Les. Drops and throwaways are not going to disappear from this team suddenly when we play Alabama.
Alabama has won multiple titles and they have evolved offensively and we are the same exact team even after firing our coach for not evolving.

No lack of critical thinking is saying "oh we won all the games so it doesn't matter."

Ultimately the production is the same. I could care less of the reasons for the numbers. This is no different than Les Miles offense. Sorry

Coaches recruit the QBs dumbass. Still comes down to coaches. No QB is going to want to play for Orgeron. That’s why Georgia getting a 5 star at qb next year

ESPN has two Ohio State alumni on this panel.
re: Itll be us vs Notre Dame in the citrus.
Posted by LexisRouge on 12/3/17 at 10:45 am to GeauxTigerNation
Most likely will only be Notre Dame if Alabama makes it in ahead of Ohio State unless Wisconsin was still ranked ahead of Alabama when the final rankings come out. Orange Bowl will take top SEC/BigTen team and if a big ten team is in the Orange Bowl then they have an agreement with the ACC that they cannot participate in the Citrus Bowl.

The frustrating thing for me in that segment he was like “Yeah that was when Auburn wasn’t playing well”. Like we played them week 1 or 2. Um no it was Week 7 and they were up 20-0. They were still good

They have nearly identical stats
quote:
In 2014 over 11 full games played as a true sophomore Anthony Jennings threw for 1,516 yards, 11 td's and 7 ints
In 2015 over 12 games as a true sophomore Brandon Harris threw for 2,165 yards, 13 td's and 6 ints
In 2016 over 11 games as a 4th year junior Danny Etling threw for 2,123 yards, 11 td's and 5 ints
Why didn't you include completion percentage? Oh because it would ruin your narrative that they were identical. But you'll make up a reason for why that doesn't matter.
Brandon Harris had a 53.8% compared to Danny's 59.5%.and Danny had a higher YPA.
Saw that Brandon Harris got the start for UNC vs Virginia
Posted by LexisRouge on 10/15/17 at 12:48 am
7-18, 46yards, and 3 ints
My God
My God

I do remember after the first series the announcers said he was limping off the field and that he looked hurt

re: Etling abandoning pass plays way too early

Coach O's emphasis with the offense are establish the run game and don't turn it over. If that's the mindset your quarterback has he is going to be gun shy unless the receiver is wide open. Remember how O reacted after that Louisville interception in the bowl game? The problem is the double clutching is actually putting him at risk of turning it over
re: Etling abandoning pass plays way too early
Posted by LexisRouge on 10/8/17 at 1:50 am to sgallo3
He is coached not to turn the ball over. We have a defensive line position coach as the head coach who hates turnovers and doesn't understand offense. Same thing will happen with Brennan as well under O. He gets pulled after every pick.
Our starting quarterback- 60.8%, 5tds to 1 int, 9.03 YPA
Posted by LexisRouge on 10/1/17 at 11:51 am
In years past thats all we wanted from an LSU quarterback. The team has regressed so badly that it does not matter anymore
re: I commented on this a month ago but Etling is getting back surgery tomorrow morning

oh yeah not expecting them to ask based off my post. I just meant that like its a reporter's job to find out information and this is like something I'd expect them to find by just having sources.
