We should ban guns, like Venezuela.

What was their per capita rate of gun deaths compared to the US?

Surely it's lower. . .

Wait. . .almost four times higher?

Uhhh

Carry on. . .nothing to see here

what an incredibly intellectually dishonest post.

The prevalence of anything which is capable of causing death in any population will obviously coincide with rates of that particular thing being involved in homicides. This is obvious and proves absolutely nothing.

This is compounded by the fact that in the US the vast majority of "gun deaths" are isolated to inner cities and related to gang/drug or otherwise criminal activity, irrespective of the presence of a firearm.

You have proven nothing other than your inability to comprehend simple statistical data, and interpret it in any meaningful way.

I wonder how many Swedish and German women wish they could CC?

I believe men like you would love to see all women defenseless.
If you support disarming me and women like me then it must be because you hate women and support rape.

Why do you hate women and support rape?

Intetesting:

In 1929, the Soviet Union established gun control. From 1929 to 1953, about 20 million dissidents, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

In 1911, Turkey established gun control. From 1915 to 1917, 1.5 million Armenians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.

Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Uganda established gun control in 1970. From 1971 to 1979, 300,000 Christians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Cambodia established gun control in 1956. From 1975 to 1977, one million educated people, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

Defenseless people rounded up and exterminated in the 20th Century because of gun control: 56 million.

You listed a bunch of countries that don't allow guns and they still had deaths.

And the per capita homocide rate for all countries...

USA is #92.

The Top 25 is basically all of Africa.

Australia and New Zealand are the most safest countries according to stats.

Gun deaths

Misleading stat is misleading.

Japan has 4 "gun deaths" - but almost 22k suicides.

US has 33,588 "gun deaths" but over half are suicides.

The implication that if there were no guns that those 18k to 20k suicides wouldn't happen is patently false, as Asian countries with severe restrictions (or outright bans), have comparable or higher suicide rates.

Now - is gun violence a problem in the U.S.? Certainly. But, it is largely urban, gang/drug related, and the U.S. is still safer, with relatively liberal firearm laws, then violent regions (with otherwise restrictive firearm laws and no Second Amendment) like Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa.

good lord, you've created a ruckus.

But, I'm still trying to find where you said that you wanted to ban guns?

I'm more concerned by the racist and dividing responses.

They can all be summed up with, "It's someone else's fault!"
